This is the best pizza in St Louis. Has been a family favorite for at least 20 years. Service can be spotty with staffing issues, but always friendly people and delicious food every time!

When we arrived the wait staff were busy so we had to ask if we could be seated. The waitress came over after several minutes to take our drink order. After waiting several more minutes the other waitress came to take our food order and had not arrived with our drinks. After several more minutes the drinks arrived. Our salads arrived with the cracker basket. The dinner salads were as dinner salads are - uneventful...iceberg lettuce, 1 small wedge of tomato, a sprinkling of white onion and cheese. But most restaurant dinner salads are uneventful so this was no different...but the ingredients were fresh! The pizza was quite tasty...very light tomato sauce base with a light layer of cheese then the requested toppings. I appreciate the light tomato sauce layer, it allowed the toppings to carry the pizza. I would have liked a larger layer of cheese but on the thin crust it may have been a bit too much. Speaking of crust...it was thin and crunch and held up to the toppings well...even in the center. This pizzeria is a nice neighborhood eatery that you should definitely try...

A throw back to the days of the good old Italian restaurants that I grew up with 40-50 years ago. What we like in particular is their salad dressing. The food is fine, but we like to buy the dressing and use that on our own salads. We use romaine, not iceberg lettuce and add lots of ingredients. I add a dash of salt, pepper and garlic powder to the mix and toss well. If you bring your own bottles, they discount the dressing. It is a little run down, but they do a good job with the food and service as I remember. Sorry, can't give an update on the food as we used to like it a lot, but have not actually sat down to eat there in years. At the time, they didn't have gluten free things. Now they do. So, one day we will be back. You will find that it is a 'hole in the wall' restaurant and usually those are the best ones!

This was our first time trying this pizza place out. The pizza we ordered supreme was pretty good. It was crispy and thin. We also had arancini and fried mushrooms. This place reminded me of the older classic style restaurant. The staff here were nice. The restaurant has lots of seats.

The toasted ravioli was great with meat sauce. Ordered the supreme pizza wanted jalapeños, but was told they don't have any jalapeños and the closest they had was a Pepperoncini. One star docked for that because I love my pizza spicy. Service was great but a little slow. Ambience was a good old quiet town family establishment. A very family centric ambiance, the owner is very nice, but she was busy with work on the table in the front of the restaurant while the brother was extremely nice and chatty with us. My baby girl loved all the food. People were very accepting when my baby was making quite a bit of noise inside the restaurant. Everybody loved her energy and smile.
